Holy Bat-Solicits!

SPOILERS AHEAD

Worlds' Finest: Apparently everyone hated the new costume enough to go back to the old one. Either that or the Pre-Flashpoint Powergirl hated this comic enough to break time and space.

Batgirl #20: There’s no time to catch your breath after last issue’s shocking ending as an emotionally unstable Batgirl must confront one of Batman’s most violent foes: The Ventriloquist!

Didn't they show the Ventriloquist in Batman #1? I may be thinking of another comic but wasn't he there when Batman was beating up the rogues? I think it was still the male version not this one.

Nightwing #20: After witnessing so much death in the past few months, how will Nightwing react when he learns a key figure in his life has returned from the grave?

The only people I can think of are his parents or somebody from the circus. I don't think DC is dumb enough to bring back his parents. On another note Dick has tape over his eyes in a "x" pattern. I really want to know the story behind that detail.

Batwing #20: This issue answers the question that’s been on everyone’s mind: Who is Batwing?

I hope it's still David. BTW this costume looks like a silver version of the Batman Beyond one.

Teen Titans #20: “Light and Dark” continues as the fallout of last issue’s attack threatens to drag the team into darkness!

I'm guessing this has to do with Raven not Joker affecting Tim. The helmet is actually an improvement to the Red Robin look.

Red Hood and the Outlaws Annual: Arsenal finally confronts Green Arrow, but it may be a short-lived reunion as someone from their past has targeted them both. Find out what the feud between Arsenal and Green Arrow is about, along with secrets from Roy Harper’s history.

I've been waiting for the Roy/Ollie backstory and hoping there would be an annual. With this and the two issues of DC Presents featuring this group there's three extra issues for me to (hopefully) enjoy. Cover-wise this has to be the most boring cover I've seen in a while. I know how frustrating art can be but what stands out about this cover? A team jumping out to attack while breaking random glass?

Red Hood and the Outlaws #20: The return of Proctor sees Arsenal and Kori reliving Red Hood’s memories—including his battles with the League of Assassins!

Glad to see my theory on it being S'aru was correct. Hopefully this means the disfigurement is all in Jasons' head. I'm not sure why Jason would battle the League of Assassins outside of Batman Inc. The All Caste weren't members of the league. They knew the Al Ghuls, likely because Ras lived so long, but they kept to themselves during their long truce with the Untitled. Yeah Talia sent Jason to train but I doubt any of those teachers were league members since Ras wanted to kill Jason in the Lost Days canon--which might not even mesh with this 'verse This canon made it look like most if not all his training was done with the All Caste.

Batman and Robin #20: The massive fallout from the recent events in BATMAN, INCORPORATED take Batman to the very limits of his sanity…will The Red Hood pull him back—or push him over the edge?

Everyone's saying Damian will die. If Damian lives he'll have to stay a certain age for awhile since no one wants to age Bruce more than a couple years. That's why I doubt we'll ever see any bat kids have their own kids in the main canon. On the other hand Damian is popular and taking him out means another Robin will have to fill the void. I wasn't too thrilled with Tomasi dumbing down Tim and Jason but I'm willing to give this a chance. Whatever the outcome of Damians' fate it makes sense for Jason to see Bruce since this series does hint at their relationship affecting the one Bruce has with Damian. I'm hoping whatever goes on in first arc under Tynion isn't brought into this. I wonder if the book would continue as a showcase for Batman and other Robins if Damian does die.
